Welcome topeepjousting, an icon journal for you and yours. Before we get started, there are a just few things to keep in mind:
1. Hotlinking, friends, is not a crime. But it's a pain in the butt, so don't do it. If I don't have bandwidth, you don't have icons, so really, it's a lose-lose situation for everybody, yeah?
2. While I guess I really don't give two rips about whether these icons go to personal journals or to RP journals, most of them are made with RP in mind. That said, textless icons are not bases, so please don't alter them and claim them as your own.
3. You must friend this journal to see the icons and make requests. The request post is located right this way. If you'd like to be added, just add me first, but, as many other great icon makers before myself have said, please don't add me, take the icons, and then remove me. It's a little on the tacky side, y'see, and if I see it, I'd be more than happy to respond in kind and keep you out of here as well. Also, if you'd like to get my attention a little quicker, please leave a comment on this post. Sometimes, I don't check the friends list for a few days.
4. For the love of God, please creditpeepjousting when you take something. I have eyes all over the internetz and they will tattle on you so fast... No, not really. I'm not going to police all of the RP communities to see if you're stealing things, but if I do catch it, I'll ask you about it, and that's always embarrassing for both of us. This is how I would prefer you credit. Also, I won't be quite so strict about it, but a comment when you decide to take something would be awesome as well. When I'm just iconing folks for the heck of it, comments help me realize whether or not I should do a second batch.
5. Tell your friends! Word of mouth is really what helps get these journals off the ground, so if you'd like to see more icons coming, put in requests, slap me upside the head, etcetera, etcetera!
